One percent of studio time, no press release
Each quarter our Halifax engineering and design team dedicates volunteer hours and operational grants to digital wellbeing literacy and Atlantic coastal stewardship.
Where it goes
Every three months we review community nominations submitted by players and local Nova Scotia educators. Our quarterly allocations focus on three practical areas:
- Digital Wellbeing & Screen Balance Workshops: Open-source educational modules teaching healthy leisure habits and probability literacy.
- Halifax Harbour & Scotian Shelf Cleanups: Volunteer shoreline restoration days coordinated from our Upper Water Street headquarters.
- Community Coding & WebGL Labs: Mentorship sessions for aspiring Atlantic Canadian interactive artists and HTML5 developers.
Why digital wellbeing & regional stewardship get the biggest share
We build browser entertainment, which means we have a firsthand responsibility to advocate for mindful screen habits and transparent probability education. Pairing digital literacy with tangible harbourfront stewardship keeps our team grounded in the community we call home.
